I cannot believe that 2 months have already passed since I gave birth to my baby girl! It seems like just yesterday that it was just David and me here, but at times I can hardly remember what it was like not to have little Brieleigh in our lives. She brings so much joy to our lives everyday...such a little miracle from God.
Her 2 month appointment went well. She weighs 11.5 pounds (75%) and is 24 inches long (95%). The doctor said she is long and lean like her parents. Brieleigh smiled at all the nurses and the doctor when they came into the room. The doctor said she has better head control and is more personable making eye contact and smiling so much than most 2 month olds. She had to have one oral vaccine and two shots. She was so happy and talking to me, then when the nurse put those needles in her legs she turned bright red, poked her lip out, and screamed with a little look that said, "Mommy, do something!" They gave her tylenol there, and I had to give her more that afternoon because she woke up from her nap screaming because of the shots.
Brieleigh’s Favorite Activities:
-Watching her mobile while kicking her feet
-Trying to grab animals on her playmat
-Being held by Mommy and Daddy
-Splashing around in the bathtub
-Taking walks inside the Moby wrap
-Smiling at you when you talk to her
-Having a little conversation with you
-And of course… drinking Mommy’s milk
