Let it Snow
On February 12th, the DFW area had record breaking snow fall for the area. The airport measured 12.5 inches. There were a few inches on the ground when we woke up that Thursday morning, and it came down all day long. Unfortunately, that was my first day back to work. David drove me though because he is so sweet and wanted to see me longer. When I got home it was dark so we couldn't play in it. We lost power that night and got it back a little after lunch the next day. I was cold, but we keep our house cold anyway because our heat is outragous. Many in Dallas had their power out for three days or so, so we were blessed. David went to work the next day, but got off around 3ish, so we finally got to play in it together! I don't see how anyone can look at snow falling down or on the ground and think that it all just happens by chance. It is definitely a miracle of God's creation.
Our Winter wonderland
Our sidewalk looking down our street
My little Snow Bunny all bundled up (she actually took a short nap out here while David and I built a snowman)
A family portrait
Unfortunately our snowman had a fatal flaw- he leaned forward too much! Two hours later he was but a memory from our past :(
No good snowfall play day is complete without a fresh bowl of snow ice cream! David said he had never had snow ice cream. We Crawfords LOVED making it, so I though I would teach him since ice cream is his favorite "food group". We still have some stocked in the freezer! Yum!
