Flying to Mississippi

We went to MS the first weekend in February. My mom bought us some cheap tickets from Southwest so we could go see her (esp Brieleigh)! Brieleigh was about 7 weeks when she flew so we were worried about her ears popping or her crying uncontrollable the whole way. She did great though! It knocked her out the ENTIRE time. I tried to give her a pacifier and feed her when taking off, but she didn't much care because she only wanted to sleep!

This was the only time she was awake... after a successful landing in Dallas.

Walking around the block with "Millie" and Aunt Maddy

Meeting Maggie Spann- who helped relieve her tummy troubles

Meeting Jan Hyde- we ate at El Rodeo and Mary
Lous with her

We met Aunt Katie, Uncle David, and Cousin Peter in Gordo, AL for a late lunch.

The cousins

Peter was very interested in putting Brieleigh's arm in his mouth!

Great Grandaddy LOVED holding Brieleigh and showing her off to all the residents at the Beehive (assisted living facility). When he would hold her on his shoulder he always said, "I hope she doesn't bite my ear off."

At Mary Lou's with the Mitchells- David, Carmen, and Brieleigh

"Aunt Chesney" holding Brieleigh
Brieleigh also got to watch her first Super Bowl with her Daddy's family. She also met all our great family friends at Covenant Presbyterian too since we did not take her out in public to visit at Christmas.
