Brieleigh's Style and Little Voice

Brieleigh's little personality comes out more and more everyday. It is so precious to watch at times, though at times it is a reminder that we are all born into this world in sin and are greatly in need of Jesus. She is so vocal when she is at home. She is starting to talk in complete sentences. Some of her favorites, "I miss -ou, Mommy!", "I want mo (more)!", "Eat time, Daddy!" (when she is calling him to come eat), and "Go, Rannas (Rangers)! She also LOVES to be like us and often copies what we do. She loves to help sweep, put up some of the dishes, put dirty dishes in the sink, help make the bed, and put her dirty clothes in the hamper.

Here is Brieleigh with her shoes and socks that she insisted on wearing in 100 degree weather. We had to force them off of her for bedtime and she wanted to wear them again as soon as she woke up.
Stylish, I know! She looked as this picture and said, "Pretty!" She calls her socks, "coffy" (comfy).
Brieleigh has been doing alot of big girl things lately. She no longer uses her high chair tray, but wanted to move her chair right up to the table. She often wants to sit on the potty (though no recent successes). She often drinks from regular cups and does very well. She only spills it when she is not paying attention we she is trying to put it down or something. And last week, she has started napping and starting the night out in her own big girl bed rather than our bed. We put a little matress at the foot of our bed with her favorite baby, bear, and blankets and she loves laying there! I think she likes calling it hers. I lay there with her until she falls asleep. It is nice to have a little time to wind down or getting ready for bed by myself. She stills wakes up in the middle of the night so I let her come finish the night with us again.

Here are some videos so you can hear Brieleigh's little voice reciting some of her favorite things! The first video she is singing "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star". The next video she counts (2,3,5,6, and maybe 7) then she says he alphabet (E,F,G is her specialty followed by "Now I know...). Enjoy!
