We left Saturday morning. It was about a 4.5- 5 hour drive with loads of traffic the whole way, especially in Austin. We of course stopped in West, TX at the Czech Stop for meat and fruit kolaches- yummy! We got there Saturday at noon. We ate at a local Mexican restaurant for lunch called Eeho then went back to their house for naps. Brieleigh and David both slept longer than usual so I eventually had to wake them both up! We went to an old brewery/shopping center and walked around the river. We were going to ride the riverboat into downtown from there, but they wanted us to pay $15 for Brieleigh- ridiculous. We drove downtown instead, walked around, got cold drinks and chips on a restaurant patio right on the river, and people watched. We ate at a Chinese restaurant for dinner, then went to there house, played with Brieleigh and slept. Grandaddy made us breakfast the next morning and played with Brieleigh while we ate. We went to church and heard a sermon on temptation and David with Bathsheba. Brieleigh went to nursery. She was only in there with one other baby. She was crying when we picked her up (they said she had been for 10-15 minutes) then slept in the car and all through lunch at Jim's restaurant. she gets upset when she is sleepy and not with us or her milk. We all talked and played with Brieleigh all afternoon before heading back to Dallas late afternoon.
Nana had bought this wagon some time ago and got it out for Brieleigh to play with along with the stuffed animals in the background.
It was adorable watching Grandaddy pull her around in the wagon.
She loved the rides- and I think he did too!
