Snow Fun... for some

Yesterday going into church it was raining and had been since before we woke up. When we got out of church it was sleeting, then soon after we got home it started dumping snow. Too bad it was so wet or we would have had a few inches. We had about an inch though so we will take what we can get. It snowed all afternoon until almost dark. I love love love watching snow fall. It is so peaceful and reminds me how awesome and incomprehensible God is. David says it is like being clothed in righteousness- it covers everything with a blanket of whiteness. Brieleigh slept through alot of it, and we caught a nap too. After we all woke up though we walked to the park down the street. We didn't want to mess up our front yard!

Daddy and daughter hand in hand. Priceless...
(Country daddy :) )

Not sure what to think.

When we put Brieleigh's penguin suit on (this was her first time to wear it; it says 3-6 months which is obviously not accurate) she kind of tucked her head and walked to her daddy as if to say, "Why is Mommy dressing me like this? I am embarrassed." It was too cute- it reminded me of Ralphy and his bunny suit in The Christmas Story.
I love this man!

Swinging is always the highlight!

Brieleigh got her socks and mittens all wet then lost her mittens so we had to go track them down. When we got inside she started crying. Her little cheeks and hands were so freezing, poor thing. She was a little fussy the rest of the night.
This is Day 2. David was working so Brieleigh and I took a piece of cardboard to the park to sled on. We actually went fairly well a few times. Brieleigh was not so excited to be out in the cold again.

Brieleigh fell down, got her gloves wet, then fell again and was done for.
She just cried and acted pitiful. I felt like a bad parent so I took her home and gave her a warm bath and a nap!

I love having a fun little playmate to entertain me during the day (and night) while David is at the office.
